South Derbyshire Council presents live music at the Bandstand. Taking place at the award-winning park, Maurice Lee Memorial Park.

All residents of all ages are invited to attend and enjoy.

Wednesday 29th July
2pm till 4pm.
The Amber Band
Enjoy a lively afternoon of Scottish and Irish folk music, with a few rousing sea shanties thrown in for good measure. The Amber Band will bring plenty of toe-tapping tunes and feel-good energy to the stage, all while supporting a fantastic cause. The band donates its event fees to Derbyshire Air Ambulance, so come along, enjoy the music and help make a difference.

Musicals in the Park
Mellow Dramatics returns with a sparkling selection of singalong musical favourites. Join them for an uplifting performance packed with well-loved songs, theatrical flair and classic West End energy. Whether you want to sit back and enjoy the show or sing along, this promises to be a feel-good event for musical lovers of all ages.

Proms in the Park
Celebrate the spirit of the Proms with Ashby Big Little Band, bringing together classical favourites and the bold, brilliant sound of big brass band music. Bring your flags, your picnic blankets and your community spirit for a stirring afternoon of music, celebration and local pride.

Wacky Wednesday
Wacky Wednesday brings a fun-filled day of live music, activities and entertainment for the whole family. Young performer Sylvie will be taking to the stage with acoustic solo performances and her beautiful voice, setting the tone for a relaxed and enjoyable day.

Also performing are Dust & Debris, an established East Midlands band known for their energetic mix of country, bluegrass, Cajun and rock and roll. With a six-piece line-up featuring three vocalists, electric guitar, fiddle, banjo, mandolin, bass and drums, they are sure to get the crowd moving.

Alongside the live performances, the active summer scheme. team will be running a range of free activities, including bouncy castles, giant games, a climbing wall and much more. All activities are free to enjoy — just sign up on the day.

Ice cream and coffee van at all events. Bring your own chairs and picnics.
