In these egg-ceptional times we urge you to follow the latest Government restrictions when out and about, enjoying the fun with just your household or support bubble, and making sure you follow social distancing at all times.

The Parks Team throughout 12 months of the Pandemic have been working hard to ensure South Derbyshire residents have open, safe, social space to exercise. As the Government’s Roadmap is introduced, the Parks Team continue to keep our parks and open spaces a place for you to enjoy and visit.

From 29 March, outdoor gatherings of either 6 people (the Rule of 6) or 2 households will be allowed, making it easier for friends and families to meet outside.

We will also be reopening outdoor sports, including Tennis Courts, Outdoor Gyms, Multi Use Games areas and Outdoor Tennis Tables. Sadly, we are unable to offer any equipment, but all are welcome to use your own for the time being. See what's on offer at Eureka Park  Maurice Lea Memorial Park, Newhall Park
