Beehive Farm Woodland Lakes, Rosliston

Rosliston is in the most southerly part of rural South Derbyshire. Beehive Farm Woodland Lakes offers visitors lots of fun ways to enjoy a special corner of The National Forest. There are more than 66 acres of woodland to explore with thriving wildlife, fishing lakes and a family-friendly petting farm. Dog-friendly.

Beechwood Park, Elvaston

A leisure complex offering log cabins, caravanning, camping, fishing and children’s go-karting. Occupying 25 acres close to The National Forest, Beechwood Park is a fantastic place to enjoy a weekend break or an extended holiday. With full on-site facilities and centrally located between Derby and Nottingham.

Birkins Croft

Glamping holiday cabin retreat in your own woodland glade. The Bairn sleeps 2 and is built entirely using traditional carpentry techniques. The cabin is home to a wood burning stove, a luxurious king-size bed and is furnished to make you really feel at home in the woods. This gem of a relaxing hide-away is situated on the door step of The National Forest, The Staffordshire Moorlands and The Peak District with plenty of local facilities.

Shardlow Marina and Caravan Park, Shardlow

At Shardlow Marina there is both a static holiday caravan park and a touring caravan park. The site has a mixture of hard-standing and grass pitches with access to electricity. There is a shop on site that sells basic supplies or you can travel into Shardlow or nearby Castle Donington. The marina complex is close to the River Trent and near to The National Forest.

Springwood Fisheries, Melbourne

Springwood Fisheries is a purpose-designed coarse fishing complex on the edge of The National Forest. The site has 14 electric hook-ups for caravans/motorhomes, a large open grass area ideal for tents and camper vans not requiring electric, five log pods fully equipped (apart from bed linen) and a café.
