Disruption to bin collections

29 August 2024

The crew did not service the brown bins on Commerce Street, Melbourne yesterday. We believe this to be an access issue as South Street and Alma Street were also missed (these two have since been serviced today).

Affected residents should leave their bins out for a pending collection.

Apologies for any inconvenience caused.

Some streets in Hatton did not have their black bins collected today. 

Affected residents  should leave their bins out for a pending collection, scheduled for tomorrow.

Apologies for any inconvenience caused.

The streets affected: Albany Gardens, Balmoral Way, Carlton Lane, Crosby Drive & Hatfield Lane.

Apologies - we are working towards a solution to catch up the below.

We may not be fully caught up until Thursday/Friday (14/15) this week. Should this not be achieved, crews will be sent out on Saturday (17) to complete the missing collections.

Due to vehicle breakdowns, some streets in Hilton may not have their black bins collected today. 

Also some black bins and trade collections in Burnaston have been affected too.

Affected residents  and businesses should leave their bins out for a pending collection.
