Disruption to bin collections

If residents have excess side refuse due to their non-collection of the black bins on the 19^th November, then the crew will collect this tomorrow, 3^rd December

28 November 2024

If your brown bin was due to be emptied today (Thursday 28^th November 2024) and it has not been emptied this is due to the contents being frozen. A decision has been made not to return to these bins, as this is an issue across the district. Please ensure that the contents are loosened and it will get emptied on your next brown bin collection.

25 November 2024

Some streets were not serviced in Chellaston including: Bradgate Park View, Eagle Drive, Griffton Close, Kestrel Close and Merlin Gardens.

These properties will be serviced on 26 November.

Due to unoforseen circumstances, certain roads along Boulton Moor and Weston On Trent have not had collections completed. Residents are advised to keep their refuse out in order for a collection on 25 November.

Due to the inclement weather conditions today and bin collections being in the rural areas of the district, a decision has been made to cancel ALL collections, this includes bulky waste and bin deliveries/collections.
Today's collection will be moved to Saturday 23 November.
