Tai Chi is a Chinese martial art, which encourages the movement and well-being of internal organs of the body through the stimulation of Chi - energy.
Sessions also help to increase suppleness, balance and general well-being as well as helping to stimulate brain activity and the power of memory.
Anyone interested is welcome to turn up just ahead of the session start time. You need to wear comfortable clothing but no special footwear – bare feet or socks are ideal.
Andrew Marshall, a registered Tai Chi instructor, leads the group at Rosliston Forestry Centre every Tuesday afternoon from 3pm to 4.30pm.The group consists of participants of varying levels and costs £4.00 per person.
