The Council is looking to procure the services of caterers to offer quality refreshments from a designated pitch in three of its parks and open spaces.
South Derbyshire boasts Green Flag Award winning quality parks which host numerous sporting and community events throughout the year. These green spaces are at the heart of our communities, and we are constantly striving to improve the visitor experiences.
We are therefore looking to procure the services of small attractive mobile catering units to offer quality refreshments from a designated pitch in the following parks and open spaces in and around Swadlincote:
- Maurice Lea Memorial Park (formal park which sports facilities, ornamental gardens and play area, bandstand and lots of events)
- Eureka Park (formal park which sports facilities, ornamental gardens and play area and events)
- Cadley Park (a brand new park with pump track and learn-to-ride area and informal walks and cycleways).
Suitable vendors may tender for one or more of the sites listed above for a three year licence. Licensees will be permitted to trade from their pitch when the park is open. Some restrictions may apply on major event days. Licensees are not permitted to cause a nuisance to other park users.
Please note - the pitches do not have access to mains water, electricity or drainage.
