We’d like to remind residents that there are no scheduled local elections taking place in 2026.

Local elections operate on a four‑year cycle, and 2026 is a fallow year—this means it’s a planned gap in the election timetable when no local elections are held.

The next scheduled local elections will take place on Thursday 6 May 2027.
