Service Update: Bin collection information

UPDATE: 13 January 2026

Due to the impact of the adverse weather conditions last week, we had to suspend our bin collections on Friday (9 January). We apologise for the inconvenience, but it was not safe to carry out collections in the adverse conditions.

If your recycling collection was due last Friday (green bin), this will be moved on to your next recycling collection. Any additional recycling waste will be accepted on the next collection (please use a box or container for additional recycling). If you are able to use a household waste recycling centre in the meantime, or share bin space with neighbours, please do so.

If your garden waste (brown bin) was due for collection last Friday, or was due on Monday 12 January, please leave this out for collection on Tuesday or Wednesday.

The safety of residents, crews and road users is our top priority. Thank you for your patience.

• Volunteer-led walks on Friday 9 January are cancelled:

  • Heartwood Surgery (10–11am)

  • Rosliston Forestry Centre (10–11am)

• Friday Cycling at Rosliston (10–11am)
