South Derbyshire Council deliver a wide range of diverse events that are popular and well attended throughout the year. These events include the Festival of Leisure, Music in the Parks, Christmas Light Switch on and much more.
The events bring the local community together and help showcase some of the amazing things that take place in South Derbyshire.
We recognise the contributions that local businesses make in South Derbyshire community, so we welcome businesses and local organisations to consider becoming an event sponsor. Your sponsorship income will help us continue to deliver free and accessible events to the people of South Derbyshire. This means we do not have to scale back on these popular events during this time of financial pressure.
Your sponsorship will be invested back into the event, contributing to the cost of booking local bands, staging, entertainment and lots more. Your support will help us continue to deliver high quality events and continue to build and develop; in the hope that the events will attract even bigger crowds, giving your businesses even more positive exposure.
Many of our events provide the opportunity for families to enjoy a day out for free, including children being able to take part in creative workshops or being inspired by local music or theatre performances.
Our events also help support local artist and musicians, providing them the opportunity to perform to large crowds.
