An update for residents

4.06.2026: We’re sorry that some green recycling bins and caddies in Newhall and Midway have not yet been collected.

Our waste collection service has experienced some disruption following the very sad passing of one of our colleagues in a road traffic accident last week.

Please continue to leave your green bins and caddies out, as a crew will return to complete these collections by Saturday 6 June.

Thank you for your patience and understanding while our teams work to catch up.

29.05.2026: We are continuing to experience some disruption to waste and recycling collections today, Friday 29 May.

Some collections from Thursday 28 May were not completed, and one round has also been unable to operate today.

Our teams are working to complete outstanding collections over the weekend where possible. If your bin has not been collected, please leave it presented and we will return as soon as possible.

We are very sorry for any inconvenience caused and thank residents for their patience and understanding while we continue to support our teams at this difficult time. 

28.05.2026: Tragically this morning, one of our refuse loaders passed away, following a road traffic collision on his way to work.

Our deepest sympathies are with his family, who we are supporting as best we can. 

Our Refuse and Recycling team is of course affected by this tragic news and unfortunately this does mean we will face some disruption to collections today. We will endeavour to catch up on anything that is missed as soon as possible.

Please accept our apologies, we are supporting our teams during such a sad time and hope our residents will understand.
