Swadlincote Town Hall
Christmas Closure: The Town Hall will be closed from 12 noon on Thursday 24th December 2026 until 8am on Monday 4th January 2027.
Swadlincote Town Hall is a Grade II listed building, situated in the heart of Swadlincote town centre (DE11 0AG), that is available to hire by organisations, groups and members of the public.
The hall is an ideal venue suitable for meetings, exhibitions, fairs, seminars, training and private gatherings.
The maximum capacity for the venue is 100 people. This is dependent on the type of event e.g. a theatre style layout (including weddings) would reduce the capacity to 80 persons whilst the maximum capacity for a seated and tabled event would be 72.

Ceremonies
Since March 2012, the Town Hall has been a licensed venue for weddings, civil partnerships and other ceremonies such as naming ceremonies, renewal of vows and commitment ceremonies.
