Newhall Park
Newhall Park is located on Main Street, Newhall, Swadlincote, Derbyshire, DE11 0TW and has been improved over the past few years in conjunction with the Friends of Newhall Park.
It offers a pleasant green space for local residents, offering opportunities for sport and informal play.
It is open from dawn until dusk and has:
- a crown bowling green
- two playgrounds – young children’s enclosed play area and recently installed older children’s playground.
- full size football pitch
- multi-use games area
- skate park
- changing facilities
- outdoor gym
- memorial garden
- Newhall Scout Centre

Membership is open to all residents of the local community and partner organisations are invited to shape the future of the park.

- tree and bulb planting
- Newhall Scouts Remembrance Sunday Parade
- litter picking
- public consultation
- outdoor gym facilities fundraising
- painting picnic benches
- monthly gardening group (pdf, 184kb) set up in 2025 - looking to involve more local people in the future of the park
