The National Forest Walking Festival
The National Forest Walking festival takes place from
16 – 26 May 2025.
The National Forest Walking Festival is a celebration of three decades of forest creation in this part of the Midlands, which demonstrates how trees can transform landscapes, communities, and the economy.
Featuring more than 90 walks, each provides the opportunity to connect with nature and enjoy the beauty of the forest landscapes.
This year walks range from under three miles, to longer strenuous trails. Many of the walks are also designed to be accessible for people of all ages and abilities with easy access and no stiles.
