Information for Candidates
As stated in the Notice of election, above, nomination papers must be delivered to the Returning Officer, Civic Offices, Civic Way, Swadlincote, DE11 0AH on any day after the date of the notice, Monday to Friday 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. (excluding bank holidays), but no later than 4 pm on Friday, 20th February 2026.
Nomination papers must be delivered by hand and must not be sent in the post.
Should you wish to have an informal check of the nomination papers prior to submission, please telephone the Electoral Services Team on 01283 595875 / 595728 / 595723 to book one of the appointment slots shown below.
Please note, appointments are allocated on a first-come-first-served basis.
