Are you passionate about driving forward operational services and delivering environmental improvements? South Derbyshire District Council is looking for a Client Team Officer to lead the development and management of our Waste Services.
You’ll play a vital role in shaping local policies, supporting large-scale service changes, improving performance within waste and recycling collections and growing commercial opportunities. We’re seeking someone proactive and collaborative, with a passion for enhancing recycling and reducing our carbon footprint, engaging with key stakeholder.
What you'll do:
- Lead waste and recycling policy development
- Manage projects and implement national policy locally
- Monitor performance and drive service improvements
- Support operational teams to deliver efficient, high-quality services
- Engage residents and businesses to promote recycling
