Local Plan Part 1 Examination

South Derbyshire District Council submitted its Local Plan Part 1 Review 2022-2041 to the Secretary of State for independent examination on XX/XX/XXXX.

The Local Plan Part 1 Review sets out the strategic planning framework for South Derbyshire, including where new homes, employment and other development should take place across the District.

The examination is an independent process carried out by a Planning Inspector appointed by the Planning Inspectorate. The Inspector will consider whether the Local Plan has been prepared in accordance with legal and procedural requirements and whether it is sound.

 

Examination library

The examination library contains documents relating to the Local Plan examination.

Documents will be added throughout the examination process and will include correspondence between the Council, the Planning Inspector and other relevant parties.
