Willington Neighbourhood Development Plan

We are currently receiving a high number of planning applications which is resulting in delays to our usual response times. We are determining applications and responding to enquiries in the order they are received. We will respond as soon as possible.

The Council consulted on the Regulation 16 version of the Willington Neighbourhood Plan from Monday 8th Sepetmber 2025 to Friday 24th October 2025. On 10th March 2026 Willington Parich Council gave notice that they wanted to withdraw this version of the plan.

Neighbourhood Area Designation
 

  • 28th March 2019 - Willington Parish Council submit Neighbourhood Area Application (pdf, 215kb) to South Derbyshire District Council to designate the Parish of Willington  as a Neighbourhood Area (pdf, 272kb).

  • South Derbyshire District Council approve the Neighbourhood Area Application following a 6 week consultation.
