Temporary Delay to Green Bin Inner Caddies

Due to a supplier delay, green bin inner caddies will not be available until the beginning of February. Green bins will continue to be delivered to residents as normal. In the meantime, please place any paper or cardboard in an open plastic or cardboard box and leave it beside your green bin on collection day so our crews can collect it. We are keeping a record of all addresses that require an inner caddy and will deliver these as soon as new stock is available. We apologise for any inconvenience this may cause and thank you for your patience.

Vehicle Seizure Notice - 22 Jan 2026 On Monday, 22 January 2026 officers from South Derbyshire District Council with support from Derbyshire Police, as part of an ongoing investigation into the illegal deposition of waste, seized a Ford Transit Tipper motor vehicle registered number Y116NCA.
