Willington Neighbourhood Development Plan

 

Willington Parish Council has submitted the Willington Neighbourhood Plan to the Council for publication.

In accordance with Regulation 16 of the Neighbourhood Planning (General) Regulations 2012, South Derbyshire District Council is required to publicise the Willington Neighbourhood Development Plan and invite comments. All comments received will be considered by an independent Examiner who will decide whether changes need to be made to the plan. The consultation will run from Monday 8th September until 5pm on Friday 24th October 2025.

The Willington Neighbourhood Development Plan proposes a variety of policies including on housing, heritage assets, green spaces, footpaths, cycle routes and renewable energy.

Your comments will be forwarded in full to the Inspector.  

Comments will be made publicly available following the close of the consultation however personal details (personal address, signature and contact details) will NOT be made publicly available but will be kept in a secure database and used to notify you of the Plan’s progress as requested.

South Derbyshire District Council Planning Services. Personal information will be shared with the independent Examiner. It will not be shared with any other department or agency, will not be sold and will not be used for any other purpose.

Neighbourhood Area Designation

 

  • 28th March 2019 - Willington Parish Council submit Neighbourhood Area Application (pdf, 215kb) to South Derbyshire District Council to designate the Parish of Willington  as a Neighbourhood Area (pdf, 272kb).

  • South Derbyshire District Council approve the Neighbourhood Area Application following a 6 week consultation.
