Visiting the Civic Offices
When you arrive at the Civic Offices, depending on the query type, we may offer you an appointment (by phone or face-to-face) with an advisor if your query relates to Council Tax and Business Rates, Debt Recovery, Benefits and all Housing enquiries.
For all other services, including planning, licensing, environmental health, leisure we will take your details and ask a member of the relevant team to contact you to answer your query. You will be contacted as soon as an officer is available, but please allow up to 2-3 days for a response.
We cannot take payments at the Civic Offices - please continue to pay your council tax and bills online, by phone, by touchtone or at the Post Office or PayZone.
If you do require support to complete a form, or access another Council service, please call us before attending the Council offices, to make an appointment. This will ensure there is someone available to support you.
